SEND

The revised SEN Code of Practice, July 2014, offers the opportunity for a fundamental review of the way all services deliver provision for vulnerable children and their families. It encourages a co-ordinated multi-agency approach to a range of services, including Education, Social care and Health.

Part of this offer is to ensure schools demonstrate their role in the process of supporting children, parents and young people in decision-making. This also includes publishing their offer on the school website.

We recognise that as a special school most of the information required is already contained on our website, but felt a dedicated page to this may help parents and visitors to understand our role more quickly.

Please refer to policies on Special Educational Needs and the Single Equalities Policy and Procedure which are located on our Policies page.
